It’s kind of nice to know we’re not in this thing alone.
Gratitude Focus: Instead of beating our head against the wall, let’s practice gratitude for all the situations that are irritating us—exactly as they are. Thank God we’re not in control and that there’s a plan other than ours. If we can’t bring ourselves to practice or express gratitude for the circumstance, then we can at least practice gratitude for how we’re feeling about it. The idea is to move from resistance to serenity.
